Přeložené to je správně, viz:

Mortal coil is a poetic term that means the troubles of daily life and the strife and suffering of the world. It is used in the sense of a burden to be carried or abandoned, most famously in the phrase "shuffle[d] off this mortal coil" from Shakespeare's Hamlet.

Ve vztahu k naší epizodě to ale spíše odkazovalo na fyzickou formu Dupli týmu, ale kdo to může X měsíců před epizodou, navíc bez spoilerů, vědět.

No mě osobně vyhovuje anglický název ale překlad taky není špatný. vim že jsem

Millerova křižovatka byla přeložena správně, nechápu, co Vám na tom nelíbilo. Ano chápu, že v češtině je těžké vyjádřit pak ženský rod, tak pak by to mohlo znít jedině Křižovatka Jeannie Millerové:-), nicméně pořád mám pocit, že zvolení názvu nějak souvisí s filmem Millerova křižovatka (Miller's Crossing), který měl podobný námět.

Search and Rescue - Hledej a zachraň! Nevím teda, jak to tu bylo přeložený, ale je to celkem jasný, ne?:-)

První pořádný popis této epizody! Že to obsahuje veliké spoilery snad nemusím dodávat...

Captain Alison Porter, a 28-year-old new addition to Atlantis, speaks with Colonel Carter about her lack of an assignment. When the Stargate activates, the two rush down the stairs to meet Lt. Edison. Edison has rushed back from Michael's compound , where a number of Atlantis personnel are now trapped. He has come for back-up and to secure rescue for his team and the others.

Carter and Porter, joined by Dr. Keller and a contingent, gear up and head to the planet in a cloaked Jumper . They begin searching for their missing people -- including McKay and Lorne, who find themselves trapped together with no way out. But the team is being watched from overhead: Michael is on board a cruiser orbiting the planet, scanning their life signs. When he determines that the Atlantians are there and may still prove useful to his agenda, he launches Wraith Darts to capture them.

The search team falls back to their Jumper to wait for reinforcements, but it's too late to use the Stargate: the Wraith have dialed into the planet, preventing their escape. Now they, like their missing friends, are trapped.

O překlad se raději pokoušet nebudu, mohlo by to dopadnout špatně. Ale vypadá to zatraceně dobře. Michaela jsem si hodně oblíbil, takže v tomto ohledu velká spokojenost. Mimochodem by se v této epizodě měl objevit i Kanaan, Teylin přítel. Epizoda by měla pokračovat v příběhu dvoudílu Kindred a finále The Last Man.

Jinak Amanda potvrdila, že v páté řadě nebude v regular castu. No co, mě stačí i jako Guest Star. Bude totiž hrát hlavní roli a produkovat 13 dílů první série seriálu Sanctuary pro Sci-fi Channel, kterému se internetová show zalíbila a tak se rozhodl to zkusit na televizních obrazovkách. No a protože se natáčení kryje s natáčením SGA, tak už Amanda nebude v hlavním obsazení. Ale přejme jí to, hlavně, že se na SGA úplně nevykašlala a neodešla z dílu na díl. (I když by to některým z fandů určitě ani nevadilo. ) A v pondělí se dozvíme novinky o páté řadě a možná i o novém přírustku do hlavního obsazení. Že by Kapitán Porter? Ale Mallozzi spíš naznačoval něco o nějaké ženě, takže to asi ne. No rozhodně jsem zvědav... Jinak se omlouvám, že jsem to nedal do topicu o páté řadě, ale když už jsem to měl rozepsané tady, tak jsem to zde i dopsal...

EDIT: Tak jsem našel ještě podrobnější popis, ale ten dám už raději do spoileru, aby mě někdo neukamenoval.

Sheppard has returned from the future and things are kind of hectic in the city of Atlantis. To make matters worse, Lt. Edison returns to the base without the rest of his team. They were trapped when the compound they were in off-world exploded. Edison is not certain of how many, if any, survivors there are because he lost radio contact with them. Carter gathers several teams for a Search and Rescue operation because the Daedalus is two hours away. The S&R team consists of new military member Capt. Alison Porter, combat engineers, and Dr. Jennifer Keller’s medical away team. Trapped in the debris are Maj. Evan Lorne and Dr. Rodney McKay. The S&R teams have used three Puddle Jumpers in their operation, and once rescued, McKay pilots one with Carter as co-pilot, Keller and Porter riding behind them, and Lorne and some Marines occupying the seats in the back compartment. While they head for their Jumper, they are attacked by several Wraith darts that are under the command of Michael in his cruiser. The Wraith activate the Stargate, preventing the teams’ escape. The teams realize that the Wraith are also after the survivors who are still trapped on the planet and must be dug out (McKay said that two people remain trapped). Fortunately, the Jumpers are cloaked, but cannot engage twenty darts without great risk, so they decide to hide in orbit and await the arrival of the Daedalus . Michael has as part of his cruiser crew Kanaan, the Athosian father of Teyla’s son. As it turned out, McKay delivered the baby, who returns to Atlantis with his mother. The excited McKay encounters Carter in the hallway on his way to see Teyla with flowers in his hand. Carter teases him that there are rumors that Teyla was going to name the boy “Rodney”, avoiding his question about why she is carrying a couple of bags. In the meantime, Porter tries to make new friends in the Lost City of Atlantis.

Po tomhle popisu opravdu začínám nabývat dojmu, že Porter bude nový přírůstek do hlavního obsazení. I když bych se dost divil, když odchází Amanda, že by vzali dalšího chlapa...
